Wrinkle Relaxers (Botox/Dysport/Daxxify)Pre: Avoid alcohol 24 hrs if possible. Arrive with clean skin. Inform us of pregnancy, breastfeeding, illness, or neuromuscular disorders.
Post: Stay upright for 4 hours. Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and excessive heat for 24 hours. Do not rub or massage treated areas until the following day. Results begin in 3–7 days (Daxxify may vary) with full effect by ~2 weeks.
Dermal FillerPre: Avoid blood-thinning supplements/medications only if approved by your prescribing clinician. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours if possible. Reschedule if you have an active cold sore or infection near the treatment area.
Post: Swelling and bruising are common. Ice intermittently for the first 24 hours. Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, saunas, and excessive heat for 24 hours. Sleep with your head elevated the first night if swollen. Contact us immediately for severe pain, increasing discoloration, or blistering.
MicroneedlingPre: Stop retinoids/exfoliants 3–5 days prior. Avoid excessive sun exposure. Arrive with clean skin.
Post: Expect redness for 24–48 hours. Use only gentle skincare for the first 24 hours unless instructed otherwise. Avoid makeup for 24 hours, exercise and heat for 24 hours, and diligent SPF use daily.
LaseMD Ultra LaserPre: Avoid sun exposure/self-tanner for 2 weeks. Stop retinoids and exfoliants 3–5 days before unless instructed otherwise. Notify us of a history of cold sores.
Post: Use gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and broad-spectrum SPF daily. Avoid retinoids, acids, exfoliants, hot tubs, pools, heavy exercise, and direct sun until healed (typically 5–7 days). Do not pick or scrub flaking skin.
VI PeelPre: Stop retinoids/exfoliants 5–7 days prior. Avoid waxing and other irritating treatments for 1 week before. Inform us of any history of cold sores.
Post: Follow the provided VI Peel kit instructions. Do not peel or pick flaking skin. Keep skin moisturized, avoid sun exposure, wear SPF daily, and avoid retinoids/exfoliants until peeling is complete and skin has recovered.
